A litter of Great Dane puppies are among the dogs at the RSPCA who need new homes.
Can you give one of these pooches, young or old, a loving home?
These dogs are all currently being cared for at two RSPCA branches in Sussex – one is located in Chichester, and the other is located in Brighton.

21. Ernie - two year Labrador crossbreed
Ernie is a sweet boy who enjoys being around people, having cuddles and exploring. The RSPCA has limited history on the pup but he has shown himself to be an affectionate sociable dog. However, Ernie can find new things and environments quite scary so is looking for patient adopters who can continue his positive reward based training to engage with him, build his confidence and show him that the world's not such a scary place. He is a fun and active young dog who can be quite boisterous and would benefit from training so that he can develop into a well mannered boy. Due to this, Ernie would be best suited to an adult only home with a secure large sized garden. He would also benefit from people who are around most of the time due to him preferring companionship and the time he needs to create a strong bond with his adopters. Photo: RSPCA
22. Hank - two year old Cane Corso
During his time at the RSPCA, Ralph has matured from a worried adolescent into a big, cheeky, young adult. He is a very clever boy who loves to learn new things but still has his daft, clumsy moments. He knows many commands, such as: sit, down, paw, spin, speak, stay, come, leave, here, kisses and his name. Ralph is very wary of strangers and needs gentle, slow introductions when meeting new people. However, once you have gained his trust he becomes a big, soppy, cuddly boy! He will ideally need to be the only pet in the home but, depending on the circumstances, the RSPCA may consider him living with a large female dog. Ralph requires a quiet, adult-only home with a large garden abd an owner experienced with large bull breeds. Photo: RSPCA
