Thomas arrived at Dogs Trust without any history. Staff have found it takes time to build a trusting relationship but once settled in a new environment, Thomas’ sweet side starts to show.

Tracey Rae, rehoming centre manager, said: “He has a shy nature and needs to build a trusting relationship with his owners before he is ready to explore out and about on his walks.

“Thomas is looking to live with teens aged 16-plus. He will also need his own enclosed garden so he has an area to relax and feel safe.”

Thomas is unable to live with cats or caged animals but would be happy to live with a dog and could be left at home for short periods, once settled.
