Video shows snow falling in Burgess Hill as yellow weather warning in place for Sussex

A yellow weather warning is in place for the rest of the day as temperatures are expected to stay at about 1 or 2°C until the morning of Thursday, January 9.

The Met Office said there could be ‘possible travel delays on roads stranding some vehicles and passengers’ and ‘possible delays or cancellations to rail and air travel’.

They added: “Power cuts may occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected.”
