West Sussex restaurant named as one of the top 100 Asian restaurants in UK
A restaurant in West Sussex has been named as one of the top 100 Asian restaurants in the UK.
The UK Top Asian Restaurants Awards 2026 were hosted at the House of Commons and organised by the Asian Catering Federation.
The event, held in the Members’ Dining Room at the House of Commons, celebrates excellence across the UK’s Asian hospitality sector, bringing together leading restaurants from across the country.
Tarana Turners Hill, in Crawley was recognised at the awards.
It is not the first time the restaurant has won an award.
It scooped a top award at the 2022 Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards.
The restaurant won the Best Restaurant of the Year in the South East of England gong.
Restaurants were awarded based on customer nominations, quality of food, service and value for money. Factors included food hygiene ratings, and reviews from websites like TripAdvisor and Google were also taken into account.
Speaking about the latest accolade, Jahan, owner of Tarana, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be recognised at such a prestigious national event.
