Days at Oakland Grange, in St Floras Road, are filled with movement, music, friendship and special moments shared together.
Pilates sessions keep everyone active, fun games put hand-eye co-ordination to the test and reminiscing sessions take everyone on a trip down memory lane, with lots of chat and laughter along the way.
Kim Maw, registered manager at Oakland Grange, said: “Residents have been sharing their advice for the younger generation, drawing on decades of life experience, laughter and learning.”
The oldest to have a say, 101-year-old Anne, says 'be healthy' – great advice from someone who has lived such a long life.
“Live life to the full,” says 80-year-old Chris, with a big smile on her face.
Treica, 81, says: “Don't miss opportunities.”
'Love more' is the simple advice from 91-year-old Jean.
Beryl, 88, advises the younger generation to 'keep your mind smart'.
Pat, 96, is all for going out and enjoying life, while Gerry, 85, advises 'behave yourself'.
Doreen, 92, says: “Put the world to right.”
The final word goes to 88-year-old Cliff, who, with eyes wide and a broad smile, says: “Don't get old!”
The care home received a Good CQC rating in July and as a thank you, the directors treated staff and residents to a visit from the T Box on October 6 for a sweet celebration with hot drinks and cakes.
