The film star, who first rose to fame for his role as Barry Spencer Taylor in the 1983 comedy series Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, joins co-stars Olivia Coleman and Jessie Buckley on the set of period comedy drama Wicked Little Letters.
The hotly-anticipated drama follows a group of women who set out to find the author of a series of ‘scandalous and obscene’ letters, sent to people in Littlehampton.
Filming has also been conducted in Arundel, with big-screen stars Olivia Coleman and Jessie Buckley spotted on set in the historic town.
