Willingdon Community Hub Library has received further funding from the Jack Jackson Foundation to continue updating the Community Hub. The money will be used to complete the window and backdoor refurbishment, update the heating, and install solar panels.

The money was donated in respect of the community service that the hub provides to the local residents of Willingdon and Jevington, and in particular for the support it gave to the community during the first lockdown earlier in the year.

Members of the hub kept in contact with people that were isolating - offering help and advice during the difficult time. This is continuing through the current lockdown.

But unfortunately the Christmas Fayre has been cancelled due to Covid.

The hub will be selling and delivering its 2021 calendar of Old Willingdon via the website. The calendar consists of a compilation of old postcards from the area which were provided by Rosalind Hodge. Printing of the calendar has been sponsored by Smith & Ouzman Ltd.
