Effective from 4am to 12pm tomorrow (October 26), the weather warning covers all of West Sussex and a significant chunk of East Sussex, including Brighton.

The warning concerns possible continued heavy rainfall which, since it is falling onto already-wet or saturated ground, could lead to significant flooding and disruption in some places.

This spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures, the MET office has advised. There is also a chance that some bus or train services will be cancelled in areas where flooding occurs, as well as damage to businesses and properties.
