In this week’s edition, we report on how a large fire broke out in the town centre on Tuesday (February 8) and police investigating the incident, which broke out above commercial premises, have sinced arrested a man ‘on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a Class B drug’.

And in other news in today’s Observer, residents are worried about cars and vans driving through the pedestrian area of Hastings town centre. They said drivers ignoring ‘no vehicles’ signs and picking up fast food deliveries in Queens Road and Wellington Place are a danger to walkers.

Armed officers from the National Crime Agency also raided a suspected weapons factory at a house in a rural area north of Hastings.
