And if that was not enough, don’t forget that at 8pm in the evening there is the village party in the marquee on the Recreation Ground with music for dancing provided by Michael Hambridge. The tickets are £7, available from Pauline Stapley (details in Pett News), and include a cold buffet but bring your own drink. The event is in aid of the Pink Ribbon Foundation for Breast cancer so please support it.

Flowerpots Playgroup has come to an end for another school year, and staff and children have said good-bye and good luck to the older children who are off to start their new schools. The group has been busier than ever this year and would like to thank all the parents, grandparents and child-minders who come every week and give their support.

This summer holidays there will be no weekly playgroup, but due to popular demand there will be two sessions, on Monday August 6 and Monday August 20 at 9.30 to 11.30 am as usual.

Flowerpots Playgroup will begin again on September 10, 9.30 to 11.30 am, and staff are looking forward to welcoming all the children back again, as well as several new babies due soon!

If you want to get in touch, you can contact [email protected] or come along on a term-time Monday morning.
