At the meeting of Pett Parish Council held on February 21 the Council heard that a new Parish Clerk had been appointed – Sarah Willoughby

Rother District Councillors reported that the local view was that council tax should be frozen for another year. However they warned that the government subsidy of £178,000 was a one-off.

Police Community Support Office Sharon Eldridge attended the meeting but had little to report. In response to a question she said that no action had been taken on speeding on Pett Road and pointed out that speed guns could not operate at night or when it was raining.

Other items raised in Public Time included:

Tree Preservation Orders.
