PICTURES: Pair arrested after car smashes into six vehicles

According to Sussex Police, the incident occurred at 12.30am this morning at Pavilion Road in West Tarring.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “At around 12.30am today (Friday, 17 June) emergency services attended Pavilion Road in West Tarring, Worthing, opposite its junction with Woodside Road, where a white Volkswagen Up hatchback had collided with six parked cars and overturned.

Hide Ad“A man and a woman trapped in the VW were freed by firefighters and found to have sustained only slight injuries.


“Neither identified themselves as the driver, but both failed roadside breath tests and both were arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol.
“The six parked cars damaged in the collision were two black Peugeot 307s, a blue Ford Focus, a blue Ford Fiesta, a beige Citroen Picasso and a silver Hyundai i30.”
