PICTURES: Yarn bombing at Knittlehampton Museum

GUERILLA knitters have struck again in Littlehampton.

A pair of woolly cycles appeared overnight outside the museum on Saturday morning (May 18) and a nearby bench and tree were adorned with brightly coloured knitting, and baubles dangling from branches, in the latest “yarn bombing”.

It’s the second time the secretive Knittlehampton group has wielded its needles to decorate a corner of the town, after giving a colourful cover-up to the western end of the town centre last year.

Former Littlehampton mayor, councillor Alan Gammon, made a video of the work of the clandestine knitters.
