Pitstop for cyclists on 1,000-mile trip

TWO cyclists taking part in a 1,000-mile trip have taken a well-earned pitstop in the Chichester Hotter footwear shop.

Alan Treanor and Adam Walsh are sporting enthusiasts from Hotter, the UK’s biggest shoemaker, and they have been raising money for the Make A Wish Foundation.

The ‘Grand Tour de Stores’ challenge began at Hotter’s most northern store in Inverness on July 16 and ended at their most southern store in Truro nine days later.

Matthew Ireland, David Jackson, Mark Titchener and Jon Read also joined the duo over the nine-day challenge.

The Make A Wish Foundation grants wishes for children and young people living with a life-threatening condition

A wish can range 
from being a princess 
for the day, to meeting a hero or going on a 
once-in-a-lifetime family holiday.

Whatever the child’s wish is, it can provide them and their family with an escape from their difficulties.
