Plans submitted for 45 homes in Yapton

Brookworth Homes is seeking outline planning permission for 45 news homes on land south of Burndell Road.

The development comprises two and three-bedroom homes – with 13 affordable homes – and includes a new access road.

The plans are due to be considered by July 10.

This application is a departure from the development plan.

Other applications submitted this week to Arun District Council include:

Arundel: Change from two flats to one house with loft conversion, two dormer windows, two-storey rear extension, replace 15 existing windows, raise roof over entrance hallway, re-cladding building through coloured render (cream) and garage alterations.

This application, at Stone Court, in King Street, affects the character of the Arundel Conservation Area.

Application for listed building consent to erect new internal plasterboard-faced timber stud partitions within main studio at ground floor level, with additional flush plasterboard soffit set at level of existing perimeter plasterboard floor beam casings. Similar internal partitions at first floor level up to underside of the existing roof trusses. Additional horizontal glazed ceiling between and over top edge of lower horizontal section of trusses at first floor level. Fixings into existing ground floor plasterboard lined ceiling and lower section of each truss at first floor level at 40A, Tarrant Street.

Littlehampton: Proposed new basement at Toddington House in Toddington Lane. This application may affect the setting of a listed building and may be determined under delegated powers by Littlehampton Town Council.

Rustington: Construction of extension to south side of church at Church of St Peter and St Paul, in The Street. This application affects the character and appearance of the Rustington Conservation Area (resubmission).

Walberton: Demolition of garage and workshops and erection of six three bed dwellings, alterations to access, parking and incidental sheds for cycle storage at Turnpike Motors, in The Street.

This application affects the character and appearance of the Walberton Village Conservation Area.
