Plants bring much-needed income for Hassocks church
Family-run South Downs Nurseries in Hassocks has donated plants to St John the Baptist Church, Clayton for a fundraising event.
The sale raised much-needed funds towards the upkeep of the historic church which has notable medieval wall paintings.
“We were pleased to be able to help the church which is just down the road from our garden centre”, said Selena Pearce from Tates of Sussex.
“And even more pleased that the sun shone to make the event the resounding success that it was.”
