Playden village voice

It weren’t me, Gov, ‘onest it weren’t!

The very successful Traditional Church Fete at Playden Church a couple of weeks ago has been wrongly attributed to the Friends of Playden Church. It was not organised by them (us). The people on the Social Committee did all the hard work and therefore deserve all the plaudits. I’m not sure if the reporter was wrongly informed, or if the editor assumed it was Friends. Any way, now you know who it really was.

The photographs of the church were lovely and showed what a pretty setting it is.
