Pockets rock-it

UP and coming rock band Scarlet's Pocket are playing a homecoming gig in Shoreham on Saturday, supporting the legendary Blockheads, as part of the Adur Festival.

The three piece band, comprising of Scott Winstanley, Ross Martin and Craig Hudson, originally all come from Shoreham, but now live in London.

They will be supporting the Blockheads, who used to play with the late Ian Dury at the festival marquee on Beach Green on Saturday evening.

The group have just released their debut EP on phreaq records and the Adur Festival concert is the first in a series of summer gigs.

Scarlet's Pocket was formed last year after Scott had a chance meeting with dance producer Paul Castle.
