FRIDAY CRAFT GROUP: Meet every Friday from 10am to 1pm, at Polegate Community Centre. We are a friendly crowd and enjoy knitting, sewing, painting, crochet, origami etc., we also have a quiz each week. Come and join us.

COFFEE MORNING: Tomorrow, Saturday, the coffee morning is hosted by The Conservatives. All welcome in the lounge at Polegate Community Centre from 10am to noon. All welcome.

BURNS NIGHT: At St Johns Church Hall tomorrow, Saturday, at 6.30pm hosted by Polegate Twinning Association. Scottish dancing, along with haggis, neaps and tatties, or sausages followed by a pudding. Tickets are £12 available from Peter Sanders our chairman on 482329.

WALKS: Tomorrow, Saturday, All Around Birling Gap, 5 miles with Sue W. Meet at East Dean Car Park 10am. Bus 12X, 9.33am Terminus Road stand J. Or a brisk pace East Dean Ingenious, 8 miles with Clare. Meet at East Dean car park 9.30am GR 557977. Public house option, regular No 12 buses to East Dean. On Sunday, Ups and Downs to the Gap, 8.25 miles with Paul and Barbara. Meet at Bedes School, Meads 10am where walk starts. Dry lunch Birling Gap. On Saturday February 4 a one to two mile walk with Marjorie B. Meet at Bedes School 10.20am. Bus 3A, 10.10am Terminus Road, stand M to Bede’s School. Leader at start.

AGE CONCERN: Are offering a bus service to Sainsburys for shopping on a fortnightly basis, cost £7 per journey. Pick up at Polegate and Willingdon. To book your place phone 638474.
