FUNERAL: The funeral of Christine Page is taking place at Trinity Church, Coppice Avenue, Lower Willingdon at noon today, Friday, followed by interment at Willingdon Cemetery. Refreshments afterwards at Trinity Church Hall.

PAMPER NIGHT: Today, Friday, for ladies by Polegate Conservatives in the main hall, at Polegate Community Centre from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. Entrance fee is £5. NATIONAL MILLS DAY: Takes place on Sunday when Polegate Windmill will be open to the public from 11am to 5pm with the radio club in operation and dancing by the Long Man Morris Dancers. Possibly also a display of classic cars. Mill tours and refreshments available.

LADIES CIRCLE: Polegate Ladies Circle meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 2.30pm. For our May meeting our speaker is John Proctor who went Trekking in Nepal. For more information phone Shirley Hannam on 488035.
