Polegate A27 collision: Three people seriously injured after car collides with van

Sussex Police said emergency services were called to a collision between a Ford car and a Ford van near Folkington Manor at 5.24am this morning (June 4).

Both drivers and a passenger in the car suffered serious injuries, police said.

The road has been closed in both directions since the incident and is likely to be closed for most of the morning. Drivers have been asked by police to avoid the area if possible.

The collision happened near to Folkington Manor at 5.24am on Thursday (4 June).
