Police concern for missing Horsham teenager

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing teenager whose disappearance is ‘out of character’.

Dawn Bailey, 15, of Nymans Close, Horsham, has not been seen since leaving her home just before 7.30pm yesterday (Wednesday September 16).

Local searches, social media checks and other enquiries have so far failed to locate her, police said.

She is described as white, 5’ 1”, very slim, with blue eyes, short cropped auburn hair and a fair complexion. She has a blue metal dental brace.

Dawn may be wearing a muddy green t-shirt bearing the logo ‘Green Band’, a navy blue parka jacket, black leggings and brown walking boots.

PC Alex Leeson, of Sussex Police, said: “We understand that Dawn has not gone missing before and so her disappearance is out of character.”
