At around 6pm, the 43-year-old victim, from Maguiresbridge in County Fermanagh, boarded a train at Barnham, headed for Worthing, but accidentally left her cabin bag in the Barnham waiting room.

PC Katie Furzer said: “I want to talk to the two men in the image I have released today, as I believe they may have information on what happened to the cabin bag.

“You might have heard a commotion at Barnham station that Friday night, December 5, because the men were apparently quite loud, and had been drinking in the waiting room.

“Do you know the men? If so, please contact BTP.”
