Police name man found dead near Littlehampton's Oyster Pond

A MAN who was found dead by Littlehampton's Oyster Pond last week has been named by police.

Anthony Coman, 42, of Bayford Road, Littlehampton, was found by the boating lake in Windmill Road just before 9pm last Tuesday (January 12).

A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: "The cause of death is still unknown, but is not being treated as suspicious.

She added that the results of a post-mortem examination, carried out on

Friday were pending, and that the coroner's officer was continuing with her enquiries.
