Police pursue purse-snatcher in Wick

POLICE are searching for a thief who snatched a woman's handbag off her shoulder, in Littlehampton.

The incident took place just off Arundel Road, on January 2, at about 10.30pm.

The woman was walking through the alleyway which connects Gloucester Place and Arundel Road.

She heard footsteps of a person she believed was running behind her. As she moved to one side to let the person pass, they grabbed her handbag and ran off.
