Policecandidate to visit Rye on Monday

THE UKIP Police and Crime Commissioner candidate Tony Armstrong is due to visit Rye on Monday evening to address voters.

He will be at Rye Club in Market Road from 7pm.

Branch Chairman Paul Willard said: “We are very pleased that Tony Armstrong has been able to fit into his very busy schedule a visit to Rye at such short notice.

“This will give voters in t”he eastern end of the County the opportunity to hear what Tony’s plans are for Policing in Sussex and to ask questions about issues that are concerning them.”

Tony Armstrong is a former serving Police Officer with 30 years experience with both Kent and the Metropolitan Police.

His objectives include more officers on the beat and on the roads, targeting of known criminals and a tougher stance on anti-social behaviour. “
