Brighton and Hove goes to the polls for city council elections

Residents in Brighton and Hove will today (May 2) vote to elect 54 councillors to the local authority.

Polling stations opened at 7am and will remain open until 10pm tonight.

A count will take place on Friday (May 3), with the results announced throughout the day.
