Chairman of the community resources committee councillor Billy Blanchard-Cooper said: “The past year has placed huge challenges
on the community as a whole and Littlehampton Town Council recognise the importance of this year’s Grant Aid Scheme.
“Now, more than ever, the scheme can offer vital funds to initiatives that support the residents of Littlehampton. It is hoped it will successfully contribute to vital services and activities and support the town in returning to a new normal.”
In 2020, the council awarded grants to groups to fund a variety of resources including supporting Cancer United with equipment to enable virtual training classes for members, funding for the Foodbank to support their ongoing work suppling food packages and Littlehampton Heritage Railway in essential tracks repairs.
Application details, along with full criteria, can be found online at www.littlehampton-tc.gov.uk/grants.
