The application for the former TSB site in Russell Way is recommended for approval and will be decided at a meeting on Monday (February 8).

Submitted by Bellway Homes Ltd, the L-shaped block will include 23 one-bedroom, 33 two-bedroom and three three-bedroom flats of which 12 will be classed as affordable.

There will be parking for 40 cars, along with motorcycle parking and space for more than 100 bicycles.

The site has quite a lengthy planning history.

In 2005, permission was given to build 270 flats, spreading across this and a neighbouring site.

That permission has since lapsed.

The planning meeting will start at 7pm. An agenda and link to the webcast can be found at democracy.crawley.gov.uk
