Horsham district councillors have pledged to consult regularly with residents and businesses to find out what local people think of the council.

The council needs to know how well it is delivering services to help to decide what needs to be done differently in the future.

It is important for the council to know how residents feel about the services it provides and where things are not as good as they should be, in order to give it the chance to make improvements in the right areas.

The survey is being distributed to households in the district as part of the council’s ‘Horsham District News’ magazine, autumn edition, and will run from August 12 until October 31.

By including the survey in the magazine, costs for the distribution are kept to an absolute minimum and residents are strongly encouraged to complete the survey online from August 12 to save the cost to the Council of the return postage.

The survey can also be returned to the freepost address found in the magazine.

All surveys returned by Thursday 31 October 2013 will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three £50 High Street shopping vouchers.
