Positive news forRye Dial-A-Ride
There is hopeful news ahead for Rye’s Dial-A-Ride service.
Pat Hughes, from Rye Community Transport, which operates the service, said: “We are in process of having positive discussions with East Sussex County Council.
“Good progress is being made in obtaining some support funding for the service.”
Rye Community Transport has already saved the important 326 Rye Town bus service which was threatened with proposed funding cuts.
The service also goes out to Udimore and Broad Oak.
