Post Office apologises after Broadbridge Heath branch runs out of stamps

The Post Office has apologised to customers after its Broadbridge Heath branch ran out of stamps over the Christmas period.

The County Times was contacted by disgruntled readers who were unable to purchase stamps this week at the shop, which is located within the One Stop store in Billingshurst Road.

A Post Office spokesperson said: “We would like to apologise to customers at Broadbridge Heath Post Office for any inconvenience caused when the branch temporarily sold out of stamps following the Christmas rush.

“More supplies are on their way and will be delivered tomorrow [Wednesday December 31].”
