Potential buyers get a preview of new Thakeham houses

Houses at Abingworth Meadows - the new Oakford Homes development in Thakeham - were shown to prospective buyers at a private preview.

Wiston House hosted the preview on Sunday July 24, for people who had previously contacted selling agents Fowlers and Savills to register their interest.

The preview included detailed information about the new four and five bedroom homes in the first construction phase, which will be set around the new cricket pitch at the heart of Abingworth Meadows.

“We wanted to give people who had already shown interest in the development a little more information in advance of the show home opening this September,” said Oakford Homes’ managing director Chris Coates.

“So it was a pleasure to welcome so many to the glorious setting of Wiston House to discuss each of the different house designs in some detail, which we hope the guests found both interesting and useful.”

A statement from Oakford Homes said: “Also on display were examples of the specification, including high quality, stylish kitchen units and stone kitchen worktops. Additionally, each home will be replete with a range of Smeg appliances, floors will be finished with carpets and Minoli porcelain tiles throughout, and details such as Hansgrohe bathroom fittings, automatic garage doors, and grassed rear gardens will be ready to enjoy from day one.
