Power cut affecting Hastings Old Town

Many residents in Hastings Old Town are experiencing a power cut this evening (Thursday, January 21).

People in postcodes TN34 3 and TN35 5 have no power according to UK Power Networks.

An underground electricity cable has faulted on our high voltage network, causing an area wide power cut according to the company.

The firm says that the power cut was reported at 4.20pm and should be back by 6.30pm as engineers are on site to fix the problem.
