Power tools stolen in vehicle crime spate

TWO Reginald Road garages with large panes of glass in the doors suffered a repeat vandal attack when glass was smashed. The damage was reported to police last Friday.

SILVERWARE was stolen when a property in St James' Road was burgled between 8.30am and 5.30pm last Friday.

VANDALS damaged a Renault Scenic with pebbles, scratching the paintwork in an attack reported in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A WHITE Mercedes Sprinter van was broken into while parked in North Road, Sidley, overnight last Thursday. Police said nothing was stolen.

AN MP3 player and CDs were stolen when a silver Ford Mondeo was broken into while parked in Carfax Close in the early hours of last Friday morning.

A PETROL-driven disc-cutter and a battery-powered drill were stolen when a Toyota Power Van was broken into while parked in Dalehurst Road overnight last Thursday.

TWO white Mercedes Sprinter vans have been broken into in separate attacks in the town, the first in Southlands Avenue, Sidley, last Thursday night and the second in Hornbeam Avenue the following night. Police said the raiders went away empty-handed in both instances.
