The team visited HeadStart Day Nursery and began by removing the rubber flooring from the babies play area and cleaning the tiles.

The messy task was followed by sanding down and repainting the fencing, playhouse and sandpit.

The volunteers also had time to paint a mural on a decking area for the babies, and everything was swept, tidied and organised ready for the children to enjoy.

Stephen Arundel from asphaleia training said: “The Prince’s Trust team programme really works. Young people that take part say that they are able to achieve things they never thought possible.”
