All those wanting to take part in the Bexhill In Bloom competition are invited to attend to pick up the entry form, support the raffle and hear speakers on gardening topics as well as browse through stands to buy green-fingered goodies to take home.

There will be details of this year’s competition, including the youth category Plant A Seaside Garden, and news of events taking place throughout the year.

The committee of Bexhill in Bloom are all volunteers who give their time freely and it is looking for others to help. If you would like to get involved please telephone or come and find one of the committee this evening.

The next event is also a big one – on Saturday June 4 from 11am to 4pm is the open garden at 294 Turkey Road.

Cream teas will be served and visitors will get to see the ‘Shredded Wheat’ Clock in this wild woodland garden in natural habitat.
