Purrfect day of fun for all the family at cattery Open Day

Cat lovers and those looking for a fun filled family day out are invited to an Open Day at the Bluebell Ridge Cat Rehoming Centre, Chown’s Hill, Hastings, this Sunday (August 2) 11.30-3pm.

A host of activities will keep cat lovers and children entertained. Talk to knowledgeable volunteers and meet the cats, browse stalls including raffles, tombola, home made cakes, refreshments. Fun games for children include cat and mouse game, hook the duck, and find the treasure.

Money raised will go towards looking after cats like Skittles and Bubbles (pictured). The adorable moggies were abandoned on a doorstep. They were taken to Bluebell Ridge to be cared for and are the longest residents at the cattery. They are looking for a nice quiet home to call their own.

Cattery Manager at Bluebell Ridge, Myra Grove, said: “We always look forward to opening our doors to the public on our open days as it’s a chance for people to have fun while meeting some of the cats that we care for.”
