Push bikes taken from Bognor area

BICYCLE thieves have struck in the Bognor Regis area.

Sometime between noon on September 30, and 10.30am on October 2, a black mountain bike was taken from Victoria Drive.

The thief cut through a padlock which had been securing the cycle and then made off with it.

Also on September 30, a report of a theft of a bike from a Hillsboro Road front garden was made to police.

The cycle, which was described as a Hercules model with a green frame, had 26ins wheels and three gears. It was taken at around 10pm. It also had a wire basket on its front and a pink and black child seat on its rear.

Two nights before a bicycle was stolen from Chichester Road, North Bersted.

The push bike was described as Muddy Fox, with a red frame and had Muddy Fox written on it in white lettering. It had 21 gears with twist grip gear shift, and no mudguards.
