The children had been learning about this era as part of their learning journey “Who do you think they are?” where they had researched various famous people including William Shakespeare and The Beatles.

The art work was based on two of the Beatles album covers but the children took their inspiration from an aspect of “A Mid Summers’ Night Dream” and combined their ideas with the original album covers.

A spokesperson from the school said: “Pupils spent the day preparing a 1960’s style buffet which was served to their parents while they looked around the gallery of work and placed their bids. The afternoon was very successful and thoroughly enjoyable.”
