RAFA annual lunch

More than 70 members and guests attended the Bexhill branch of the Royal Air Force Association annual lunch at the Cooden Beach Golf Club.

President Ken Igglesden commented: "It was very successful - we had Air Vice Marshal Grahame Jones, who is Secretary General of RAFA. He have a very good speech about the Association and what we are doing and intend to do in the future. It was very positive.

"Next year is the 70th anniversary of the Battle Of Britain and it is going to be a very big event with a lot going on. For instance we are taking over St Paul's Cathedral for a service on December 7, and there will be 2,000 of us there."
