RAFA book and video sale

THERE were bargains galore to be found at the many summer fairs and events held in Bexhill on Saturday, and the RAFA (Royal Air Force Families Association) book and video sale, held at their Marina headquarters was no exception.

With dozens of books at just 10p, CD's for 20p and videos at 25p it's understandable why many people were buying in bulk.

There was also the added attraction of refreshments in the form of teas and coffees at just 50p a cup.

With over 140 raised for the RAFA Wings appeal, Club Vice Chairman Geoff Brown said although raising funds was important, they had no option but to sell the many books and videos they had acquired cheaply as they had simply run out of storage space.

He added; "A lot of people came along and we are pleased that the event went so well."
