The team from the town’s railway station, in Terminus Road, have managed to raise more than £270 for disabled East Preston child Iona-May Thorne by holding a cake sale, at the Worthing railway station.

Iona-May’s mum, Vicki Thorn thanked all those who took part and donated to the fund-raising effort.

The cash is being put towards the family’s £30,000 building project to redesign the ground floor of their home which will give Iona-May the quality of life she deserves.
