Rehearsals to kick off

Members of Elmer Entertainers are about to start rehearsals for their 2009 show.

Last month saw them present their current show Let's Play It Again to packed houses for two nights in aid of the Arthritic Research Council (ARC) and St Wilfrid's Hospice. Just under 2,000 was raised.

The group's next event this Saturdaywill be a table-top sale at the Jubilee Hall in Middleton to raise money for its costume fund.

The gentlemen of the group will again be serving their popular hot bacon rolls together with tea, coffee and biscuits.
