Remembrance Sunday services and free Brighton and Hove travel for veterans
Also taking place on Sunday will be the Brighton Parade and Service at the War Memorial, Old Steine, Brighton at 11am. The parade will depart from Madeira Drive before arriving at the Steine for a service and wreath laying ceremony. Those attending have been asked to arrive at the memorial by 10:55am.
Hove’s Branch of the Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen & Women will also be holding a service on Sunday at the Hove Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, 79 Holland Road, Hove, BN3 1JN. The service will take place at 4:30pm.

Hide AdA two-minute silence will mark Armistice Day on Monday (November 11) at 11:00am. This will be observed at the Hove War Memorial at Grand Avenue, Hove and also at the War Memorial at Old Steine, Brighton.
Brighton & Hove Buses and Metrobus will offer free travel to veterans and serving members of the armed forces this Remembrance Sunday.
Free travel will be given to anyone wearing their military service medals or carrying a military ID card.
This will be valid all day on Sunday across Brighton & Hove, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Poppy sellers can also travel free until November 21.
Govia Thameslink Railway will offer free travel to Armed Forces members, veterans, and cadets on Southern, Gatwick Express, Thameslink, and Great Northern services on Remembrance Sunday.
