Reporters are running for Danny

TWO Observer reporters are joining the throng of runners at the Bognor Prom 10k on Sunday to raise funds for a local boy.

Ellie Evans and Chris Shimwell will be putting their best foot forward for Danny Herbert, a three-year-old from Felpham.

Danny suffers from pulmonary atresia with ventricular septial defect, which means his pulmonary valve in his heart has failed to develop properly and is unable to oxygenate the blood around his body.

Doctors have run out of options to treat him and have said he has a maximum of two years 
to live.

Danny loves all things Disney, and earlier this year residents raised the cash to send him and his family on the trip of his lifetime to 
Disneyland Paris.

His family now need help raising funds for a decent pushchair for him, and they would love to decorate his bedroom... with a Disney theme!
