Roger Thomas, 75, of Highgrove Gardens, Worthing, came fourth in the over 65’s category at the British Natural Bodybuilding Championships, held in Liverpool, in September.

A conversation with the world champion in the age group has led Roger to believe he has what it takes to be crowned champion next year.

“The guy who came first said to me that he thought I could win it, which astounded me.”
