Road closed after two-car crash in Angmering

PART of Angmering's A280 is closed after a two-car crash left two men in hospital.

The incident happened near the road's junction with Ecclesden Lane at about 5.50am, when an Alfa Romeo and a Fiat collided with such force that the second car ended up on it's side, and the driver had to be cut from the wreckage

He, as well as another man who was a passenger in the rear of the Alfa Romeo, were taken to Worthing Hospital, though their injuries are not thought to be serious.

The southbound carriageway remains closed, though the north has since reopened.

Any witnesses are asked to call Sussex police on 0845 60 70 999.
