Roadworks start today

Six kilometres (nearly four miles) of the Normans Bay Road between the Pevensey Haven roundabout eastwards to its junction with Cooden Sea Road will be closed to through traffic for roadworks for five weeks.

Work on patching the carriageway and kerbing began today.

A diversion will operate both ways via the Pevensey Haven roundabout, A259 Marsh Road, Barnhorn Road and B2182 Cooden Sea Road.

Access for residents may be limited during working hours between 7.30am-5pm but access can be arranged locally with the site manager or superviser.
