Roadworks to start in Littlehampton on Monday

The work, which is scheduled to take up to eight weeks, will take place in St Flora's Road, from the Horsham Road junction to The Sportsman.

A spokesman for West Sussex County Council's Highways Department said a new asphalt surface would be laid, and concrete slabs replaced.

" This will also cover the parts of the pavements leading to residents' garages and driveways. There may be times when on-street parking may be suspended for a short period of time."

A traffic management "give and take" system will be put in place for the duration of the works, which will be from Monday to Friday, 7.30am until 5pm.

Some Saturday work may also be carried out, between 7.30am and 1pm.
